Crafting Gold Ingots is one of the many challenging crafting tasks requiring you to beat some higher-level bosses, unlock stations, and only then be able to craft them. This guide explains all the materials required for making Gold Ingots and how to get them in the game.
Gold Ingots is a product that you can get by smelting two ingredients: Gold Jewelry and Sulphur. However, you will first need to unlock the Gold Ingots recipe acquired after defeating Azariel the Sunbringer boss in the game. Gold Jewelry is one of the rarest resources in the game. Specific regions and enemy types drop this crafting item.
Since Gold Ingot is a late-game item, its ingredient, Gold Jewelry, also demands a higher gear level to farm.
The easiest way to acquire Gold Jewelry is to farm it by killing the Paladin, Bishops, Lightweaver, and Wizards. Many other foes also drop Gold Jewelry, such as Knights and Clerics in Silverlight Hills, but the Brighthaven Cathedral section gives the highest drops. Also, Paladins and Wizards are much easier to beat than Knights and Clerics.
To get Sulphur, you must first collect Sulphur ore and bring it to the Furnace. Farbane Woods is one of the early game areas that has this resource in abundance. In particular, Bandit Sulphur Quarry on the western coast is chock-full of Sulphur ore waiting for you to extract from nodes.
After having all the ingredients to make Gold Ingots, you need a suitable station to craft them. The Advanced Forge unlocks when you defeat the level 65 V Blood boss Cyril the Cursed Smith. once he is taken down, you get the blueprint to craft an Advanced Forge back at the base and craft Gold Ingots using the above mentioned ingredients.
